Airport pickup: volunteers will wait in the airport cell lot until their team leader gives them a clear to go to baggage claim area to pickup the guests and their luggage. Lifting luggage may be required. You will then take guests to their hotel or apartment.

Apartment Setup involves the following tasks:
- Warehouse Loading: Team leader will meet you at RST (or one of the other warehouses), where you will get a list of items to load into your car to take to the apartment. Lifting light objects will be required. Some heavy lifting will be required for bed frames, large boxes and mattresses.
- Groceries: one or two people will use the HEB list to order curbside pickup of groceries and take those to the apartment. Some food items may have to be obtained in a second location.
- Pantry Supplies: One person will go to St. Matthew's church to meet with Julie and pickup her Afghan pantry and kitchen supplies and take to the apartment.
- Furniture Assembly: a team of 3 people will be assigned per shift to put together bunkbeds, full size beds, tables and chairs that come in boxes. They will bring their own tools to do it.
- Runner: one person will be responsible to do a Target or Walmart run at the end of the day to purchase any items that are still missing after the apartment is set up. Runner may also have to run errands like picking up donations in various places.
- Furniture Delivery: after initial apartment setup, a team of 2-3 people may be needed to pick up heavy furniture.
- Organizing: unboxing, organizing kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, cleaning up after ready
Salaam Neighbors Program: This job requires additional training from AJPR steering committee members and involves the following

- school support
- assistance with cell phones/ technology needs
- apartment orientation
- take to library
- Austin tours
- ESL/conversation classes
- cultural research
- Texas State ID
